Midsummer Magic “Saturday Night at the Opera”Saturday, July 31 7.30pm
We’re back! There would be a revolt of operatic intensity and
proportions if we neglected to present our annual night of big tunes
and heart-on-sleeve sentiments from the opera stage…. and what a cast
of characters will be brought before you! Mezzo-soprano Kimberly
Barber and baritone Brett Polegato sing major roles in theatres
around the world. Joining them tonight to give a tenor’s take on life
and love is PEI’s own Graham Thomson. Peter and Robert will tag team
from the keyboard as the curtain rises and the glorious St. Mary’s
acoustics work magic as well as any opera house on the planet.
