The People's Gospel Choir of Montreal was formed in 1992 when a group of artists came together to sing praises through the glorious music of gospel. They were as diverse and as unique as the city from which they came, and the music they made together was that of a truly unique flavour. They are a choir of many peoples who have come from all around the world to call Montreal their home and who all share a love of gospel and a passion for music. The choir has performed with such legendary artists as Patti LaBelle and the Neville Brothers at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the Governor-General's Performing Arts Awards, Canada Day Celebrations on Parliament Hill, the Carlton Blues Festival and has also performed at countless churches and benefit concerts. The choir is under the direction of Kim Sherwood. $24
