Kensington & PEI

The Town of Kensington sits at the heart of Prince Edward Island's tourist area, a mere forty minutes from Borden and Charlottetown, and twenty minutes or less to Summerside, Cavendish, or Malpeque. Whether you plan it or not, you'll probably find yourself driving through Kensington while en route to or from the main tourist areas. The closest town to St. Mary's Church, it is only 5 minutes away.

The Kensington train station is a popular tourist spot in the area, which has become quite famous through its mention in the novel 'Anne of Green Gables'. Every Saturday morning during the summer, there is a farmer's market held here.
